Description:
  Having survived the massacre of her family, a young girl must make the long journey through the horrors of the Burmese jungle to the Salween River, beyond which lies the freedom of Thailand. Crossing Salween was shot on location in Thailand with filming operating out of Chiang Mai. Ronnachai ʻMaiʼ Wijitto who plays the main character Ko Reh was street cast and comes from a refugee family from Burma. She had never acted before.
