Description:  John Ford/John Wayne: The Filmmaker and the Legend explores the friendship and professional collaboration of the two Hollywood legends that spanned 50 years, changed each other's lives, changed the movies and, in the process, reflected all the elements and all the paradoxes of 20th century America.

Over the course of his long career, John Wayne starred in 14 films directed by his long-time friend and mentor, six-time Academy Award-winning director John Ford. Wayne is most often remembered for his starring roles in Ford's The Searchers and The Quiet Man.
