  [Screening @ Tiburon Film Society]

THE BRIDGE SO FAR - A SUSPENSE STORY is an entertaining documentary on the troubled history of the new east span of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge, produced and directed by David L. Brown. Addressing what State Senator Tom McClintock calls "one of the great fiascos of the 20th and 21st centuries in California history," this documentary finds both the humor and the drama in that story.

In addition to those interviewed, who include former S.F. Mayor Willie Brown, Caltrans director Will Kempton, seismologist Bruce Bolt, Senator Tom Torlakson, and reporters Sean Hostege and Lisa Vorderbrueggen, Brown incorporates humorous commentary by comedians Will Durst, Joe Klocek, and Michael Capozzola. Hosting the documentary is the acclaimed comic actor Geoff Hoyle.
