Description:
"My Town" is a poetic tale about the residents who live in a solitary housing block which stands on the outskirts of an industrial town in Silesia stands a lonesome tenement, housing human misery and Go*dzik with his family among others. Go*dzik like everybody else around is jobless, does not study, but plays in the local hockey team. Like all the other tenants of the tenement, a gallery of funny and pathetic characters, he tries to find his own way to endure in the gray, no-future reality of today.

But, the social questions of the film are just a pretext for in-depth reflections on human relations, the way one shapes up, and the abilities to cope with untoward circumstances.
