Jakov Sedlar & Dominik Sedlar
Jakov Sedlar was born on November 6th, 1952 in Split, Croatia. He graduated from the University of Zagreb, and has a degree in Philosophy and a degree in Film and Theatre Directing. Thus far he has directed 34 theatre plays („Long Day's Journey Into Night“, „Bent“, „The Gin Game“, „Three Sisters“, „Macbeth“…) , 9 feature films ( „Gospa“, with Martin Sheen and Michael York, „File of Four“, „ Agony“…), and over 50 documentaries ( „Croatia“ narrated by Martin Sheen, „Croatian Religious Art“, „Stepinac“, „Tudjman“, „Jews and Croatia“, „No More Heroes-The Story of Meir Amit“, „Yudith“…).

Along with his son Dominik he has directed a few films as well: „Mozart of Basketball – The Story of Drazen Petrovic“, „Quarter to Eight“ (Story of Motty Hod), „Fate Did Not Let Me Go“ (narrated by Liv Ullman and Martin Sheen), „Syndrome Jerusalem“ (Martin Sheen, Charlotte Rampling, Macaulay Culkin, Mili Avital). A few of his films as well as plays received awards the most notable being the first Peace Prize Award given at the 2004 Venice International Film Festival.

Dominik Sedlar was born on December 20th, 1979 in Zagreb, Croatia. He Graduated from The Professional Children's School in New York and attended the NYU Film School. His directorial debut came at the age of 15 when he co-directed a documentary called „The Mozart of Basketball – The Story of Drazen Petrovic“. Thus far he has directed and or Produced 8 documentaries, which include „Croatia“, „Bridges of Memories“, „Fate Did Not Let Me Go“, „Quarter to Eight“, „Tudjman“… He directed two feature films, „Mercy of the Sea“ and „Croatian Nightmare“. He also won the first annual award at the 2004 Venice International Film Festival for the film „ Syndrome Jerusalem“.
