Allison Beda
Allison Beda's first narrative short film Fallen is an award recipient, premiered at the Vancouver International Film Festival. Her first documentary (based on her experiences as a fashion model) is the feature length How To Be a Model (a 12 step plan) which garnered her a Don Haig Award Nomination and a Nell Shipman Award Nomination, is presently airing on THE DOC CHANNEL. She has also made a number of award winning experimental shorts films including Know your Alphabet, which toured Europe with the likes of Stan Brackhage.

Allison is presently working as an Episode/Segment director on the Force Four show The Shopping Bags and has just finished the very dark short comedy Tea Party, which premiered at the Vancouver International Film Festival. She is also preparing to direct the feature comedy The Take Out Girl, (written by Lara McKinnon) which she is developing with Telefilm Canada. She graduated from SFU with a BA in Film and has a MFA in film production from UBC.

Allison is particularly fond of making comedies about women who cause a lot of trouble.
