Edward Shieh
Edward Shieh makes his directorial debut after a storied career
creating numerous advertising campaigns for some of the world's most recognized brands. Working with some of the most reputed commercial directors allowed him to develop an innovative, yet disciplined approach to filmmaking. Influenced mostly by international film, Shieh wrote "No Menus Please" as a U.S.-made "foreign film." He entertained offers from directors and production companies before friends convinced him he was ready to showcase his experience in all stages of film making as director.

Shieh has worked for agencies such as Ogilvy & Mather, TBWA/Chiat/Day, and BBDO, including Absolut Vodka, Heineken, IBM, and Pepsi. He is the recipient of the internationally prestigious Clio, New York Addy, New York Festival, and London Advertising Award. He is also the creator of the new brand identity, slogan, and tourism campaign for the state of Connecticut.
