Lisa LaBracio
Lisa LaBracio was raised in New Jersey, but relocated to New York City to study animation at the School of Visual Arts. During her time at SVA, she created five short animations, one of which was selected as a PSA for UNESCO in 2005. She was also selected by the French Embassy in the United States to represent her school and country during the “PRIMN”, or the First International Digital Media Meeting, sponsored by French embassies all across the globe in 2005.

Since then, she has continued her travels across the globe, incorporating volunteering in Tanzania and teaching children English, art, and, of course, animation! Professionally, she has been working at Plymptoons studio, with Bill Plympton, for two years, on projects including his well known films, “Hair High”, “The Fan and the Flower”, “Guide Dog”, and many others.

“Sideshow” is Lisa’s graduation project from the School of Visual Arts, and her debut in the world of festivals.
