Eugenio Cappuccio
Eugenio Cappuccio born in Latina in 1961, dropped his studies of Law at 21 and obtained a degree at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia as screenplay writer, in Roma. He was Federico Fellini's assistant director on Ginger and Fred and worked with the Maestro for several years until Fellini asked him and Christina Engelhardt to shoot a docu-film about himself directing "La Voce della Luna," title "Towards the Moon with Fellini". After such an important task, Eugenio was ready to go as a writer and director for his first feature film, Il caricatore (The Reel) and got few awards such as the Ciak d'Oro, and the "Pardo di Domani" at Locarno Film Festival in 1997.

His 2nd film is La Vita Una Sola (One Life is Enough), which was successfully presented at the Torino Film Festival in 2000 but a true disaster at the box office. His 3rd feature film is "Sleeping on Her" based on Massimo Lolli's novel, which was selected at the Premiere section at Venice Film Festival in 2004 and won the FEDIC award, which did better. His last feature film "Uno su Due" (One of Two) was selected at the Roma Film Festival in 2006 and won the LARA award. At the moment he is working on the script for his new film, titled "Dead in Italy". He lives in Turin, Italy.
