Drora Machlev
Drora Machlev was born in Israel, 1973. She had originally started her career in the Israeli Army as an Electronic Technician in the Air-Force. After she finished her military service she found herself working in several well established Hi-Tec companies.

In between she managed to get a BA degree in Criminology and sociology. Her career as an Electronic Technician established her financial condition but her main desire was always in writing and creating films.

In 2001 she started writing a book called "Cry Boy Cry" on a prisoner who was released from jail, trying to gather the pieces of his life and conform to a normal society. It was published in April 2006, in Israel. In 2005 she took the step towards her dream and came to Sydney to study at APA International Film School.

She studied for 2 years in the Advance Diploma program. Love is A Stranger is her first film as the writer/director.
