Jeff Morris
Jeff Morris will be making his feature film directorial debut with the original screenplay he wrote titled, You Did What?. He comes to the project having written and directed two well-regarded short films in addition to completing numerous screenplays. The most recent short film, The Honor System, about a group of awkward sixth graders competing for the school’s dodge ball title, just wrapped up its run on the film festival circuit. While on the circuit, the film won the “Audience Award for Best Short Film” at the Newport Beach Film Festival. It beat out more than 175 films from 45 countries.

Previous to The Honor System, Jeff wrote and directed The Slow and the Cautious. The comedy spoofs the hit film, The Fast and the Furious. The Slow and the Cautious premiered on IFILM and to date has been seen by more than 240,000 people. It is one of the 10 most viewed comedy shorts in internet history. The Slow and the Cautious opened the Toronto International Comedy Short Film Festival.

As a screenwriter, Jeff recently optioned his original script, Over Slept to producer Rich Hull (She’s All That, On the Line) of Avalanche! Entertainment. Jeff also just completed writing the screenplay, Soft Target. Jeff earned his Political Science degree from Arizona State University. While in college, Jeff wrote over a 100 feature articles for the State Press Magazine, the nation’s largest college entertainment periodical.
