Bill Hallinan |

Bill Hallinan is a fresh writer/director who combines a love of
storytelling with a passion for the new digital tools of filmmaking.
He is a recent graduate
of the renowned New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, where
he obtained a Bachelor's degree in film and television production in
May of 2004. During his college years he wrote and directed 6 films.
Before returning to school for film, Bill had a successful illustration
career that spanned 12 years, resulting in over 2,500 published
illustrations and an interview in the New Yorker Magazine. His
editorial illustrations have been published in major publications such
as the Wall Street Journal, Time Magazine, Newsweek and The New York
Times. Bill has also provided illustrations for major advertising
campaigns for companies such as Lexus and Polaroid.
Bill was born in 1966 on the island of Manhattan. At the age of 2 his family moved to Haledon NJ where he lived his early formative years scampering through the creeks and industrial backwaters on quests of exploration and discovery. After high school he attended and received a degree in Fine Arts at SUNY’s FIT in New York City, and has lived in Manhattan ever since. Bill is currently developing a feature length script based on the characters from Pony Under a Painted Sky, as well as a buddy film set during the cold war called On Yer Way Spaceman. Films |
