Ignacio Villa
Luis Ignacio Villa Reynolds was born 12,000 feet above sea level on June 12th 1981 in La Paz, Bolivia. Going by Ignacio Villa since birth, he moved to the tropical city of Santa Cruz in 1986 where he didn’t do much for 14 years.

In 1998 his life changed when he was off to Rome, Italy to spend a couple of years with his father. Once there, he attended a prestigious International High School where he took full advantage of the great arts curriculum unavailable back in Bolivia. Going to the movies, museums, and photographing the city became his pastime.

He graduated with a couple of awards and started attending New York University for Film and Television Production. He directed and produced short films and documentaries, such as ‘Falling’, a story that juxtaposed a day in the lives of a homeless man and an executive woman, and the documentary ‘Quote-end-Quote: Profile of a Gigolo’, both selected to be screened at the school’s festivals.

In March 2004 he finished the production of his thesis film ‘Delivery’, which is currently being sent to film festivals. Ignacio Villa recently graduated with honors from New York University and currently lives in Queens.
