Didier Nion
Born in Le Petit Quevilly, France, in 1959. He began his work in cinema as an assistant in such films by Claude Sautet, Luc Besson, Pierre Jolivet, and Amos Gitaï, among others. From 1991 to 1994, he was the photographer in several shorts films.

He directed his first film, a documentary called Clean Teams (1996), shown by the French-German TV Art, and this was followed by Juillet to the Quiberville (1997-98) and Voyages, Voyages (1999), also shown by the same channel. Seventeen is his first feature.
