Stefan Sargent
Stefan Sargent has been making films for over 50 years. He began his career in radio and television in Sydney, Australia - followed by time as a TV commercial producer for ad. agency, J. Walter Thompson.

For TCN9 Sydney, he made 12 one-hour documentaries and hundreds of pop videos. For the ABC - a one hour doc. on life in Longreach, “Edge of the Outback” and for The Commonwealth Film Unit a 30 minute doc. “The Change at Groote.” His Groote Eylandt film won the Australian Film Institute (AFI) Golden Reel Award for Best Documentary for non-fiction "for both the adventurous film making strategies and for the sentiments it evoked", the Adelaide Advertiser (newspaper) Award for the Best Australian Film of the Year and the Film Editors Guild of Australia Award.

Moving to the UK, he was employed by the BBC as a cameraman (Ken Russell’s “Debussy” with Oliver Reed) and later as an editor (“The Wars of the Roses” directed by Sir Peter Hall).

In London, with his wife Tricia, he founded Molinare - still the largest video facility company in London. Recently providing all the DI work on “Brooklyn.” As a producer in London, he made films for the UK Government, Barclays Bank, BP, ICI Paints, The Royal Television Society, IBM and Apple.

In 1999, he moved to San Francisco and continues to make TV commercials and documentaries.
