Attila Szász
Hungarian writer-director Attila Szász graduated at the University of Theatre and Film Arts in Budapest in 1996. He worked as a film critic, edited film trailers, even founded his own distribution company. In 2002 he was assigned as editor-in-chief of VOX, Hungary’s biggest movie magazine. A year later he directed his fist commercial. In 2002 he quit journalism and started directing full time. He has directed over 150 commercials in many countries.

In 2004 he wrote and directed his first short film, the 30-minute long NOW YOU SEE ME, NOW YOU DON’T which was selected to screen at over 100 film festivals in 34 countries winning 18 awards.

His first feature The Ambassador to Bern, a political thriller based on a true story of the 1958 attack against the Hungarian embassy in Bern became instantly one of the most critically acclaimed Hungarian films of the last few years.
