Rodd Rathjen
Rodd Rathjen is an Australian born director raised in Colbinabbin, a small country town in central Victoria. Rodd completed a bachelor of Film and Television with Honours from the Victorian College of the Arts in 2010. Rodd's Honours film 'The Stranger' screened at a number of festivals in Australia and around the world including being apart of MIFF's accelerator program in 2011.

Rodd wrote the short Small Yellow Field while backpacking around India. He shot the film in 2012 and it had its World Premiere at Cannes as part of Critics Week 2013. Rodd is currently developing his first feature film ‘A Handful of Sand’.
