Yulin Liu
Yulin was born and grew up in Beijing, China, where she has been influenced by eastern culture and philosophy. After several years traveling between Eastern and Western continents, she has been exposed to different worldviews, perspectives and new methodologies to make sense of what she sees. The two cultures and philosophies have melded together and taken residence in her. They drive her to make films that tell touching stories and reveal her new realizations about people, about life.

Currently, she is pursuing her MFA degree in Filmmaking from Tisch School of the Arts at NYU and is developing her first feature “One Sentence Worth Ten Thousand,” which will be filmed in China.
