Hart Perez
Hart Perez is filmmaker and photographer living and working in the San Francisco Bay Area. Born in Oakland, California, he attended Saint Maryís College of California where he earned a bachelorís degree in Communications. At Saint Maryís, he was employed as the head of programming for the campus television station and directed the award winning short Decaf Please! (2007).

Since graduating, he has been able to combine his love for both film theory and film production by pursuing a masterís degree in Cinema Studies at San Francisco State University while simultaneously working on independent and commercial productions (which include videos for Cisco Systems, MTV, and ESPN).

Most recently Hart spent the summer of 2010 in Shanghai writing and editing the short documentary Made in China, which has since been accepted by the San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival. In January 2011, he co-directed the music video Gaels Gone Wild, which has subsequently aired on Comcast Sports Network and Fox Sports Network and earned tens of thousands of views online.

He is currently working as a crew member on the independent feature Love & Taxes starring Josh Kornbluth, which is being shot in and around San Francisco, California. Hart is looking forward to finishing his degree and pursuing careers in both education and film production.
