Alan Started making films at the age of seventeen. His first film, Players, was shown on Channel 4 as part of the short lived latenight show Loves Like a Dog. Expelled from school, Alan was free to focus on film and later that year his short The Life of a Pint won a British Telecom award for innovative filmmaking.
He went on to study philosophy at The University of Reading where he nearly bankrupted the drama society directing his adaptation of William Shakespeare’s brutal Titus Andronicus. The outdoor production required a purpose built amphitheater filled with close to fifty tonnes of sand.
He has also worked as a photographer, shooting album covers for the likes of DJ Rectangle and Fightstar which lead to Alan directing the promo for Fightstar’s Deathcar. The controversial video featured 4 the graphic removal of a human heart and was banned on television.
Alan is currently writing his second feature film. He lives in London with his dog Dave.
