Szabolcs Hajdu (b. 1972, Debrecen, Hungary) has been working as an actor since the early 1990’s. He attended the University of Theatre and Film Art in Budapest. After some short films he made his first feature “Sticky Matters” in 2000, which won Best First Film Director Prize at the Hungarian Film Week. His second feature film “Tamara” (2003) won Special Prize of the Jury for Best Visual Design at the Hungarian Film Week in 2004. Hajdu’s fifth feature BIBLIOTHEQUE PASCAL won Best Hungarian Film Award at the Hungarian Film Festival in 2010.
