Marc Meyers
Marc is a filmmaker and playwright. HARVEST is his second narrative feature. It stars Academy Award Nominee Robert Loggia and Barbara Barrie. Marc also wrote & directed APPROACHING UNION SQUARE, now on Sundance Channel. APPROACHING UNION SQUARE played over 25 film festivals, winning several Jury Awards for Best Feature. Variety wrote, “thought-provoking … touches with skilled insight,” and “reps a fine calling card for a clear, even voice.” Following its International Premiere at the Montreal World Film Festival, The Montreal Gazette called APPROACHING UNION SQUARE a "startlingly accomplished debut."

Marc and the film were part of the Emerging Director Competitions at both the Starz Denver and St. Louis International Film Festivals. Marc recently directed the music video for Sandra Grace’s “Stay With Me,” which had its broadcast premiere on MTV’s LOGO. He also co-created Cube Farm, web content for NBC Digital Studios and Dotcomedy. Marc was part of the team behind the 9/11-themed documentary WITNESSING which premiered at the 2003 Tribeca Film Festival, and continues to play on MSNBC. His short films include 86 CUSTOMER and CALLOUS.

He is an alumnus of various theater collectives in New York including the Ensemble Studio Theatre and The Cherry Lane Theatre. His plays have been staged at a variety of theaters in NYC including American Theatre of Actors, Ensemble Studio Theatre, and the Harry De Jur Playhouse. Marc formerly handled sales & sponsorship at Variety, covering the production services categories. He also was part of the producer team for the inaugural NY Documentary Festival (“docfest”). Marc began his career in entertainment as a development consultant for the IFP Market & Gotham Awards.

Marc studied dramatic writing with Milan Stitt (Head of Playwriting at Carnegie Mellon), Tom Noonan, and Mick Casale. He is a Virginia Center for the Creative Arts Fellow, and member of the Dramatist Guild. Marc is from Peekskill, NY and lives with his wife in New York City. He is a graduate of Franklin & Marshall College.
