Liu Hao
Liu Hao was born in Shanghai. In 1995, he made his first MTV, Drunken Royal Concubine which has won the Bronze Award of the 1st Shanghai Regional Opera Music Video Competition. In 1999, he graduated from the Directing Department of the Beijing Film Academy.

In 2002, his debuted feature, ChenMo and MeiTing obtained the NETPAC Award and the PREMIERE First Movie Award Special Mention of the Berlin International Film Festival in 2002. This film was released in Germany during Christmas 2002 and later released in France in 2004.

In 2004, his second feature, Two Great Sheep, has obtained the Best Feature of the Canada Victoria Independent Film & Video Festival, the NETPAC Award in the Vesoul Asian Film Festival and the Jury’s Award of the Washington DC International Independent Film Festival in 2005. It was screened in the China Night at the Cannes Film Festival in 2005. It was also selected for New York Lincoln Center's New Films New Directors Film Festival.
