Claude Duty
Prolific filmmaker and well-known figure of the French short film world, Claude Duty has directed since 1974, at a steady rhythm, more than 20 shorts, he lingers with delight in all the cinematographic genres (narrative, animation, experimental), while he granted himself the freedom to never think his creative pathway as a career plan.

His attachment and his knowledge of the short format led him to work at Canal+ France at the short film service. Besides, as an ingrained festival-goer, he hosts with a constant enthusiasm many debates and round tables.

In 2002, Claude Duty directs and gets a public success with his first feature film Filles perdues, cheveux gras (Hypnotized and Hysterical (Hairstylist Wanted)) followed shortly after by a second feature Bienvenue au Gte (Bed and Breakfast). He is currently preparing a 3rd feature with Autour de Minuit.
