Robert Krieg (M.A., Ph.D.) was born 1949. After studying sociology, journalism and ethnology, he began teaching at the Dortmund Polytechnic and the Universities of Osnabrueck and Bielefeld. From 1977 to 1982, he was involved in social research on the topics of marginalization and migration.
- In 1983, he started writing and directing documentaries and in 1997 founded WORLD TV together with Monika Nolte.
- 1991 to 1995 documentary film workshops at the “Escuela International de Cine y TV” in San Antonio de los Banos, Cuba.
- 1991 to 1996 head of training programs to set up the Palestinian radio and television service in Jerusalem and Ramallah (financed by the EU and the German Federal Ministry for Cooperation and Development, BMZ).
