Brian Caunter
Born in Painesville, Ohio, Brian Caunter moved to Chicago where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Film and Video at Columbia College. He co-directed and edited two music videos for local hip-hop group Soul 360 Entertainment. One video was nominated for a TRUTH Award and the other played over 100 times on the BET Network. During 2004 and 2005 Caunter worked on various projects for the STARS EDGE Network and ESPN and edited numerous concert videos for bands such as Queens of the Stone Age and The Lawrence Arms.

In 2006, Caunter co-wrote and edited the Ray Bradbury short story adaptation, The Small Assassin. Later that year, he performed on-set editing and script supervision tasks for The Devil's Dominoes, a quarter million dollar feature length film starring Vincent Pastore (Gotti). Caunter then worked in the AD Department on Fred Clause starring Vince Vaughn (Wedding Crashers) and Paul Giamatti (The Illusionist).

Most recently, Caunter made his feature-length directorial debut as the writer/director of Chicago Overcoat starring Frank Vincent (Casino) and Kathrine Narducci (The Sopranos). Caunter is currently the Vice President of Development at Beverly Ridge Pictures.
