Stephen Auerbach
In the last few years, award-winning filmmaker, Stephen Auerbach has showcased his creative diversity with a number of surprising films that have touched the heart and raised consciousness. Auerbach’s first feature documentary, Race Across America, aired on NBC-TV and received the highest ratings in the network’s history for a cycling event. The film went on to win the Grand Jury Prize at the Boulder International Film Festival.

The Circus Comes to Town, Auerbach’s film on the traveling era circus troupes, had its’ world premiere in an unprecedented six week run (daily screenings) at the Cirque Du Soleil World Headquarters in Montreal, Canada. Auerbach’s follow-up documentary, The Memory Box, shot entirely in Ethiopia, tells the story of the meeting between a medical team from the West and a group of courageous African social activists working to lift the country out of poverty and despair.

Auerbach’s current release, the inspirational, Bicycle Dreams, is quickly becoming a grass-roots phenomenon for audiences across the globe.
