Donna Kline & Wendy Slick
Donna Staley Kline, a former piano teacher and school librarian, retired in 1991 to devote her full attention to her research and writing. She has lectured widely and has previously written on the career of her favorite virtuoso in American Music Teacher and the Journal of the American Liszt Society.

Wendy Slick, Director/Editor has produced, directed and edited in almost every facet of the entertainment media industry—American Playhouse, Disney, Showtime, PBS, CBS, and VH-1. In addition to designing and producing a number of CD-ROM and Web Sites, she has also made educational and documentary films for Lucas Film Learning, Harcourt Brace, Sundance Institute, Nature Company, and Apple Computer. Wendy has been honored with several Emmy and ACE nominations, a “1000 Points of Light” award, as well as awards from the New York Film Festival, Houston Film Festival, Hawaii Film Festival, and several Cine Golden Eagle Awards.

She has created film projects for the Herb Alpert Foundation, Carlos Santana’s Milagro Foundation, Woman’s Funding Network, among others. She was consulting editor for the series Pacific Diaries and the show Skin Stories for Pacific Islanders in Communications. She also served as editor for Ripe for Change, one of the shows of the four part PBS series California and the American Dream. She served as producer for American Playhouse’s Hot Summer Winds, and created the video department at the College of Marin. Her recent documentary film, Passion and Power: The Technology of Orgasm, a feature documentary on women’s’ rights issues, debuted at New York’s Lincoln Center and the Mill Valley Film Festival. She is currently producing Emiko Omori’s “Ed Hardy: Tattoo The World” a feature documentary tracing visionary artist’s Ed Hardy’s phenomenal rise to cult icon.
