Ryszard Bugajski – writer, screenwriter, film and TV director. Born in 1943 in Warsaw. He studied philosophy at Warsaw University and directing at Lodz Film School. From 1975 he was a member of Andrzej Wajda’s Film Studio “X” until its demise in 1983. In 1981 he made a feature film INTERROGATION (Przesłuchanie) which prompted the authorities to disband Studio “X”.
