Victor Avelar Martinez
Born, Mexico City, 1966. In 1994, he attended Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica. He graduated in july of 2001, with the shortfilm Jacqueline (Ella dijo). This film have been screened at festivals around the world. He’s been working as Director of Photography on commercials and music videos in Tijuana City.

In 2005 he made the shortfilm ‘Rosa’, for the ‘National Contest of Shortfilm 2005’ where the main subject was ‘Feminicidios (murders of women)’, which is on the top ten shortfilms completed; obtainig Honorific Mention.

This year he has made the feature film: ‘¡¿Cómo no te voy a querer!?’ as a director and screenwritter; winner of the program Prime Operas 2006, of the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica.

At the present he is working on the screenplay ‘Angeles la memoria perdida’ for his next film.
